Software giant Adobe announced that it will no longer develop their Flash Player plug-in for mobile devices. It will instead concentrate efforts on HTML 5. In August of this year, Adobe shocked the web development community by previewing new software for building rich Internet application called Edge. Instead of using flash, the Edge uses programming and markup of the World Wide Web Consortium's HTML5 standards with CSS and JavaScript programming language. They lost the battle with flash, but they are doing what every tech company needs to do - adapt.

Google will soon be releasing a mobile payment platform that will let consumers use their Android based phones to make purchases, earn loyalty points, and redeems coupons. The phones will interact with near-field communication equipped at cash registers. In March, thousands of stores in New York, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and Chicago will be texting the new system.

Forever Moving Forward was developed as a result of three women, Akilah Baker (Founder), Kamilah Baker (Co-Founder) and Jovan Johnson (Co-Founder) who began brainstorming ideas for an organization that could help young girls deal with the short and long-term challenges of being an adolescent, as well as, moving from adolescence to adulthood.
